Always outstanding service and willing to get my Tika masala just the right level of spicy for me. Not a beer fan but their 1947 and Taj Mahal are both super. We eat here about 4x a year and have never had a bad meal. They were even kind enough to divide our shared ice cream in three for us. Also, the portions are ... deceptive. Usually we end up bringing some home but if you are really hungry you might be able we to finish everything. Dishes come with rice but we always order 1-2 orders if regular or garlic naan. I recently ate at this lovely little treat of a restaurant on Amsterdam Ave, Upper West Side, NYC for my birthday. The food was cooked to a very good standard and had a great atmosphere in the restaurant itself. We liked it's location and would go back anytime in the future, if the opportunity presented itself. Absolutely delicious food and amazing service. We were given the lunch special despite it being the weekend (when the special isn’t usually available). Our server was incredibly accommodating and kind. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Definitely coming back, would recommend to anyone
